THE BOYS TOWN CAUSE

When most people see children wandering around on the sidewalk, they probably do not think much of it and figure they are just roaming aimlessly out of boredom. Occasionally someone may comment about them, but most just continue on with their day as if they did not see anything. What people do not realize is that these children and their families have fallen under hard times. They could be starving because they are homeless, their parents are jobless, or it could be so many other bad scenarios.

Luckily there are people willing to stop for these children and offer a helping hand like the Boys Town organization. The purpose of the Boys Town is to help get children off the streets, reunite lost children with their families, find foster homes for those who do not have families, and spark a flame of hope when there were only clouds of despair.

Originally founded by an Irish priest named Father Edward J. Flanagan in 1917 with $90 to pay rent for a small boarding home, Father Flanagan developed it to become one of the largest non-profit child care agencies in the country. He invited children to stay at these facilities and gave them shelter, food, and hope for a better way of life regardless of their race, religion or background.

MISSION VIEJO AUTO COLLISION BOYS TOWN CHRISTMAS DRIVE

Inspired by how the work of Father Flannigan has helped to shape the future of disadvantaged youths throughout the country, Mission Viejo Auto Collision (MVAC) has contributed their time and efforts to support this wonderful organization and its cause for the past three years. As tradition, Mission Viejo Auto Collision and their partners have conducted a toy drive for 2013 to bring to the children of Boys Town. They continued to deliver Christmas trees and gifts to these children annually to give them the best Christmas possible despite their unfortunate situations.

Join Mission Viejo Auto Collision to pray that God gives courage, strength and guidance to these children to overcome challenges they have and will encounter. Help them find the path to success in their lives as they mature. The team at Mission Viejo Auto Collision prays that God blesses all of you with much love, joy and good health throughout the holiday season. We pray that He keeps you safe, warm and dry during your travels to love ones. Have a Wonderful Christmas and a Happy New year from your Mission Viejo Auto Collision team!
