Exciting Pinewood Derby Race Hosted By Mission Viejo Auto Collision
It was a beautiful day of exciting racing again at Mission Viejo Auto Collision on April 17, 2016. We were elated to be able to sponsor our third Pinewood Derby Race for the Boys Scouts in Orange County this year, as it helps to foster creative, productive, sharp young minds to be future engineers, leaders, or entrepreneurs. It also teaches good sportsmanship at a very young age.
We clear out our Orange County auto body shop each time to setup a race track for the derby with seats and tables for fans, families and friends to cheer on our racers. Of course you cannot have good racing on an empty stomach, so we grill hot dogs, hamburgers, and hand out chips and drinks to all who attended. As expected, there were lots of cheering, excitement and good fun for all with many ribbons and one big trophy handed out.
Thank you to Todd and Arturo from Mission Viejo Auto Collision who always puts on these events with warm hearts, and big smiles. We hope everyone had a wonderful time, and look forward to the next race.
